Finca El Cerro is located in the eastern highlands of El Salvador, in the world renowned coffee growing region of Apaneca, Ilamatepec, at a 1500 m.a.s.l, surrounded by indigenous forest, which provides an ideal microclimate for growing high quality coffee. The Farm is the heritage of five generations of Salvadorian coffee producers. The special microclimate of the farm is supported by the native forest that covers part of the property. In 2016, the owner Fernando Leto Escobar took a step forward and started processing their own coffee, and now they are vertically integrated producing, milling and exporting company. For Fernando Leto Escobar, coffee means passion - and not just during cultivation, but right through to preparation, cupping and brewing.
