Chemex Brew

Our chemex brewer utilize filtered water at approximately 50ppm total hardness, with 96C – 98C water temperature, aiming for TDS of 1,30%

14.7g Coffee - 250g Water

  • Put the paper in your chemex brewer and give it a good rinse with hot water. It removes all paper taste and preheat the equipment
  • Remove the rinsing water
  • Grind your coffee beans to a coarse grind setting. Add the coffee, tare your scale, start your timer
  • Pour 83g water to the coffee in circle pour in 10s. At 30 secs: pour 83g water in circle pour in 10s. At 1:00 seconds: pour 83g water in centre pour in 10s.
  • Swirl lightly.
  • Total brew time: 2:45 – 3:15 minutes
